Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, was born in Washington Heights, Manhattan on the 11th of October 1992. She is an American rapper, songwriter, actress and television personality.
From 2015 to 2017, she appeared as a regular cast member on the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York to pursue her musical aspirations, and has released two mixtapes—Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 1 and Vol. two.
Since then, Cardi B has earned three number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100; "Bodak Yellow" made her the second female rapper to top the charts with a solo production.
