Demi Lovato, whose real name is Demetria Devonne Lovato, was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico United States on August 20, 1992. She is a singer, acting and songwriting artist.

She began her scenic career in 2002, at the age of nine, on the television show "Barney and Friends" alongside Selena Gomez.

In 2008, she became world-renowned when she played the lead in Mitchie Torres in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock.

In her music career, she is active as a solo artist, having released her debut album, Don't Forget, in 2008.
