Gracie Abrams

Pop

Gracie Abrams, born on September 7, 1999, in Los Angeles, California, is an American singer-songwriter known for her emotionally raw lyrics and delicate indie-pop sound. Daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams and producer Katie McGrath, Gracie grew up surrounded by creativity but quickly carved her own path in music. She began writing songs at just eight years old and eventually developed a confessional style that resonated with a generation navigating love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.

She briefly studied international relations at Barnard College in New York but left after a year to fully dedicate herself to her musical career. In 2019, Gracie signed with Interscope Records and released her debut EP minor in 2020, featuring the hit single “I Miss You, I’m Sorry.” Her 2021 follow-up, This Is What It Feels Like, further established her as a powerful new voice in alternative pop.
