Muzz

Muzz is the indie supergroup born from the creative union of Paul Banks (Interpol), Josh Friedman, and Matt Barrick (The Walkmen). Forged through years of friendship and musical kinship in New York City, the trio channeled their collective experience into something deeply personal and unhurried. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2020, arrived as a quiet revelation — a tender, melancholic collection of songs dripping with intimacy and poetic lyricism. Drawing from folk, chamber pop, and alternative rock, Muzz crafts a sound that feels both timeless and distinctly human. Far from a side project, Muzz represents a genuine artistic sanctuary where three seasoned musicians explore vulnerability and beauty on their own terms.
